Our Story
Mullum Mullum Aboriginal Gathering Place (MMAGP) provides a culturally safe and inclusive space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to come together to feel connected and empowered. MMAGP supports and facilitates a variety of cultural activities and programs which incorporate art, music, language, and storytelling.
Our Community
At Mullum Mullum, community is at the heart of everything we do. We are a proud, welcoming, and inclusive space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the Eastern Metropolitan Region can gather, connect, and grow. From Elders to youth, families to individuals, our community is built on shared culture, strong relationships, and a deep commitment to supporting one another.
Our Programs
At Mullum Mullum Aboriginal Gathering Place, our programs are designed to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families through culturally grounded support, learning, and connection. From Elders and youth activities to healing programs, food relief, and creative workshops, each initiative strengthens community, celebrates culture, and supports wellbeing across the Eastern Metropolitan Region.

Mullum Mullum Aboriginal Gathering Place operates across key locations in the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne, offering safe, welcoming, and culturally rich environments for community to connect, learn, heal, and grow. Each space reflects our commitment to culture, inclusion, and community wellbeing—designed for gathering, sharing stories, and strengthening identity.
Cultural Programs
A safe, welcoming space for Aboriginal women to connect, share culture, and support each other. We run cultural workshops, yarning circles, wellbeing sessions, and community events. All Aboriginal women are welcome!
Days & Times: Every Friday, 10am – 2pm (does not run during school holidays)
A supportive space for Aboriginal men to connect, share culture, and strengthen wellbeing. We run yarning circles, cultural activities, guest talks, and community outings. All Aboriginal men are welcome!
Days & Times: Every Thursday, 4-6pm

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We honour their deep spiritual connection to Country, Culture, and Community
